Jack Berkowitz

I have a long career in AI, data analytics, service provider software, and business applications, from my time as VP of Products and Data Science at Oracle, the Chief Data Officer at ADP, and currently Chief Data Officer at Securiti.ai. These roles let me get involved in a lot of fantastic projects, including launching the first AI capabilities in Oracle’s business applications, building data systems that helped millions of people and thousands of businesses get through the Covid era, and now getting to specialize in AI security, operations and ethics.

However, I spent a decade prior with my own startup, edapta, and a series of great software companies including Cerebra and Attivio (all acquired). And was able to bring these startup learnings to acquisition strategies at Oracle and ADP, and developed deep partnerships with companies such as DataBricks, Snowflake, AWS, NVIDIA and others.  And early on, got to work on some serious DARPA technology.

I have enjoyed getting back to start-up space working directly with founders and engineering teams, serving as an advisor to several CEO’s and as a due diligence source, including a recent $100M+ investment in a vertical GenerativeAI company.

I have been recognized by Reconteur Data Leader 25 (2024), CDO Magazine Top 100 Data Leaders (2023) and DataIQ100 (2023); host a video series on CDO Magazine for CDO’s and CDAO’s; been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Information Week, Computer Week, Forbes, The Register and Wired; and have been featured talking about AI and data on The Cube, the Data Chief, MIT Sloan Review’s Me, Myself and AI, and others. And one of my favorite events was being part of the AWS ReInvent 2021 Keynote, talking about building large scale data systems and having massive social and economic impact.

Excited to be joining the Board of OpenLoop Health, an integrative digital and health services company emerging as a major, vertical services led technology player. In this capacity, I will help align automation and AI with growing platform, as well as, implementation to large benefit and health services customers.
